Atlas is the AI-powered companion built for Southern Glazer Wine & Spirits field sales force, part of a broader Digital Companion strategy giving every stakeholder in the ecosystem (sales reps, customers, suppliers, employees) a unified, intelligent assistant. For the field sales team, the companion acts as a daily command center: optimized routes, customers prioritized by opportunity (size of prize) and time since last order, real-time customer and market intelligence, open orders and support issues in one place, on-site image capture and activity logging, and an AI-guided Sales Path to Goal. It turns field selling for the largest North American wine-and-spirits distributor into a guided, data-driven experience.

## Challenge

Southern Glazer serves tens of thousands of retailers, bars, restaurants, and hotels across one of the most fragmented categories in retail. The field sales force is the central relationship layer, but daily work depended on stitching together separate tools, lists, and inboxes. The opportunity was to give every stakeholder in the SGWS ecosystem (sales reps, customers, suppliers, employees) a unified, intelligent companion, starting with the sales rep experience.

## Impact

Defined and shipped the Digital Companion strategy and the Atlas sales-rep companion as the first pilot. Atlas brings the daily field workflow into one product: optimized routes, customers prioritized by opportunity and time since last order, real-time customer and market intelligence, open orders and support issues, on-site image capture and activity logging, and an AI-guided Sales Path to Goal that focuses reps on the highest-value actions. Stage: pilot and concept (2023). Shipped adoption and outcome metrics for the sales companion are not asserted here.
